Simplicity Exposed Pure Usable Content, No Sales

Getting Started – First Fundamental Activity

This is a republished article. Following my new posting prior. My life is dedicated in starting from the beginning. Through my blog, we will walk through only truths. As I, have experienced. No products, services nor programs. My "Clean Blog". So, get ready and let us collaborate. There are many ways to come to the same ending.

We are going to travel through the basic setup for those of us who desire to not only to create a company of our own. Yet, generate revenue for personal needs and business projects, and causes.

Maybe you can understand that first we want to know how much it will cost to start. That saying how much do I need to get started and build a solid foundation. Nothing in life can exist without a foundation and it better be a strong one.  Now, there are places that will make you believe that paying for a service is better than one that is free. That is just not true and we only deal with truth based on we are not sharing how to be an “Affiliate Marketer” or salesperson. Hey we need people who believe in making someone else dream come true is a real business?

Let us take a look at what we are talking about vs Affiliate Marketing. Now, Affiliate Marketing is: Affiliate marketing is a type of performance-based marketing in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought by the affiliate's own marketing efforts. The industry has four core players: the merchant (also known as 'retailer' or 'brand'), the network (that contains offers for the affiliate to choose from and also takes care of the payments), the publisher (also known as 'the affiliate'), and the customer. The market has grown in complexity, resulting in the emergence of a secondary tier of players, including affiliate management agencies, super-affiliates and specialized third party vendors. source: Wikipedia

We are in the business of building trust and a real personal relationship with each person we come in contact with daily. That is a whole other area of interaction and sharing only what we love doing ourselves. Our drive is based on usage and not the dollar. That is a real way of producing sources of revenue ethically and honestly. Not saying Affiliate Marketing is not ethical yet most do not use and therefore, they are pitching. You can now see the difference and if I had to choose over again. It will remain interacting with people for a righteous reason other than to make a buck.

Knowledge: Affiliate marketing is commonly confused with referral marketing, as both forms of marketing use third parties to drive sales to the retailer.[1] However, both are distinct forms of marketing and the main difference between them is that affiliate marketing relies purely on financial motivations to drive sales while referral marketing relies on trust and personal relationships to drive sales.[1] source: Wikipedia

Now, let us move forward with getting you to the right place for a minimal investment that I believe most can afford until they have enough growth that the cost will not exist. You do not have to spend money while building a Operations to run your company globally and create a solid foundation. You have to always be patient and complete your due diligence every step of the way.

There are many service providers which offer a platform which you could build your Operations from, the average cost about $10.00 per month. Yet, none have what we have found to offer the most for the price, per say. You can have 10 future departments pre-established for growth. Also, unlimited live support daily and your own online address for this new company you will establish. No other place as of this day offers what this one gem has shown us. It is up to you to complete your due diligence with finding such a place. I refuse to allow this site to start recommending and pitching for one thing.

Next, make a Operational Budget which is very different than a personal budget. You can not touch your payroll and other business support reserves. Yet, with a personal budget you can take from one to give to the other which most believe is creative. That only gets you deeper in debt. So, focus on learning about what an Operational Budget looks like and make your own based on where you are at now. The only expense should be for $10.00 per month on that one location that you will have the rest of your life as your virtual Operations for that company you will establish later. Also, any office expenses if any based on starting off you would work from home and that is all taken care of. Yet, during tax time you should be able to have expenses deducted and that is when you will need to speak with a tax professional.

Now, you can be one who has accomplished what most never get around doing. Operational Budget, one location that has it all even 10 departments setup, with a blog for your personal voice. That is very important so people can get to understand the human behind the company. You express your passions weekly to everyone for interaction on the subjects. You gain trust as a leader in your industry and a person who knows what the heck they are speaking about.

This is just the first of three fundamentals that will have you accomplish great things. You will be able to make those visions manifest if you understand it will take effort from you. You alone are responsible for your future. You must commit and accept responsibility for all your choices. No one is responsible for you except yourself. No blaming others for your lack of focus, knowledge on how to do something. You have to complete due diligence on every single thing prior to making a decision or choice. Get serious and do not think of this as a situation where you can see what happens? Take it serious and not as a hobby which everyone gets uninterested after a while. This is just the beginning and along way from even establishing your company. You have just completed setup of your Operational Budget. Located the one place you will run your company from anywhere in the world. Congratulations!

Until next time we will venture into setup of your foundation the right way. No matter what your  company will do for humanity. You are not defined by your choices of producing revenue to fund projects, causes and personal needs. That has nothing to do with your company. Just remember this over and over again. Sources of revenue are just what it is a source not a company.

Thank you for supporting this site and please contact me for just about anything on the side. I look forward in creating interaction and making new friends daily. I understand that pleasing everyone is not going to happen. Those who I have hurt in some emotional way accept responsibility for your choices and do not blame me for the lack of due diligence being accomplished on your part. There are no excuses just those who fail by giving up. Never give up no matter what. Learn and attack that challenge in another way!

  3. I was not familiar with the term referral marketing even though I have been involved with it.

I run my own websites but the more marketing funnels you have the better and I often use additional platforms, especially for promotion, for affiliate rather than referral marketing.

I look forward to reading your other posts in this series, William.

    • Yes Sue,

Many people get them mixed up and their is a good reason. Yet, I learn how to tell the difference by what drives each one. The only one I ever love and live is driven by building trust with a person. You get to see what you have in common and learn what they find to be their challenges.

That is the key to providing them the solutions when needed. You are a person who provides solutions and have a great chance to move over to the side of creating lasting relationships which you can show your gratitude in amazing ways.

Thank you for all the great things you bring to us, and the time you took to share your insight on our subject. Most welcome and I would like to encourage you to join us again soon.

  4. Hi William,

Your message of setting up an operational budget and a personal one is something that many don’t do. We have to treat our business as a business and separate the two.

Because I’ve been in my own business for decades, I found that is the most effective way to grow a business.

When it comes down to business, my golden rule that has made me self-supportive for years is “put my clients/customers” FIRST! Value the people that come and help them along the way. When they reach each step of growth, share the joy with them. I guess I take business very personally. And my clients have been with me for years. When they grow, my heart is filled with joy.

You have the right idea and edify each person as they meet mile stones is the only way to express the joy you can feel being one who is coaching, mentoring and loving them.

More of us should show our gratitude in ways that people can feel the love per say.

You are one of the most remarkable people I have every had the honor of knowing. Thank you Donna for taking the time to help our readers grow and learn.

  5. Hi Will, You have given so much outstanding information in this post. There is so much overwhelming information out there. It is great to find someone who does and will take the time to be supportive.

    Have a great day. Monna

    • Monna,

No matter how much a person desires to help and support everyone to the level that person would be happy. Most people want more and will feel let down.

We just keep trying to reach-out to as many people who may feel uncomfortable to ask for support. Hey, it is free and very well done if you walk through things with people and have some type of fun.

This is my passion in life, to help everyone with daily challenges and those who are trying just to make some money offline and online. They have to start out right and then later they will use their imaginations to make their unique taste seen and felt.

Everyone must have a starting point and why not get it right the first time.

  6. William,

You are right. For a person starting out, your site offers probably everything the person could want and need. However, having set up many of my own web sites, at this point I prefer that since I have total control. But someone starting out doesn’t even know where or how to begin and your services can be invaluable. And they can get started by building a solid foundation and have you, and others, to guide and support them along the way.

    Dr. Erica

    • Dr. Erica,

We have to find a solid place that will give the most for less. I believe in being one to love doing my due diligence prior to starting anything. Some may say that I over analyze and God is still working on me.

You are right with having a solid foundation and being able to have someone walk them through setup and fundamentals is a huge advantage when it cost nothing for the support. That is the key.

Working with people is a passion and if we can do this day in and out. They will feel the support and give the same to others during their building and through life. That is at least my hope.

Thank you Dr. Erica for bringing it straight to me and I love it!

  7. Hi William, another thought provoking read. I like how you separate the personal budget from the operational budget, so many entrepreneurs confuse the two. Having them separate right from the start prevents a lot of problems.

    • Sarah,

You got that right! I spend countless hours going through this each day as I feel the importance of all my new contacts to understand and use the knowledge correctly.

They do well after seeing it in action during any given time. The Operational Budget is a living thing per say. You have to stick with it and feed it more and more. Love seeing it grow with more AR and less AP.

Thank you Sarah for the continued support and interaction. I would love to see how well you use the operational budget.

  8. Hi Bill, I think a lot of affiliate marketing is about trust and knowing the marketer also. It depends on the kind of affiliate program – if it’s something like web hosting, or an auto-responder, or plugin, then “trust” isn’t so important. But nowadays there are affiliate programs that offer a lot more than just the product, and before signing up, people like to be sure they’ll sign up with someone who will support them. This is especially true when the customer is paying a recurring membership fee.

What do you think about referral based marketing companies starting to call themselves “affiliate marketing” companies? I don’t want to name the companies, but there are a few now.

    • Julieanne,

Many companies arrive online each month and have to clue as to what they are besides in it to make a dollar. If you look at most they have a product or someone else’s. They arrange and setup as a pre-launch to gather some investors and take off.

I know how hard it is to tell the difference between affiliate vs referral marketing and you can look it up on the dictionary to understand the truth. They are truly different and nothing is the same. One is driven by dollars and other driven by trust with a real bond(relationship).

Yes, companies can call themselves anything they want yet do your due diligence first then you will discover the truth of what type of source for revenue you are getting yourself into.

You can not go into it blindly without gathering all the facts. I do not waste anymore time with building sources of revenue with any companies. I have paid my time and have all I need. I make sure to help people learn the difference based on so much money is wasted without knowledge.

If a company is a referral marketing company great! Yet, if they misrepresent themselves then I would avoid them and run for the hills. Ethical they are not and will never be. Once they take deception in their way of doing business they are out of the equation.

I hope that answers your questions Julieanne and thank you for the interaction.

  9. William, Some great tips here! Getting the right foundation right and creating the revenue streams that fit your business model are so important. Budgeting correctly will give you the space and time to work on moving your business income forward. Thanks for sharing this!

I want to thank you for your continued support and look forward when you have a few minutes to get with me.

  10. Hello Bill…..You are absolutely correct…There are no magic systems that are going to make a future for you….There are people out there that make a living by convincing others that their system or program, is all it takes…..they would have you think that all you have to do is purchase their so called “secret proven system”…for a monthly fee….set it up, and keep throwing money at it ….and you will be rich…..Sorry …..It just doesn’t work like that….Thank you for your article and Thank you for holding up that mirror….to find out where we failed at our business we have to look there first….right in the mirror….Our fast food society makes us get in this mind set that we should be able to get everything we want without effort or work, just because its on the internet or working from home…..another problem we as humans tend to forget, is to give ourselves and our business a chance to let our income sources work….we are to quick at giving up for the next shiny lure that is presents itself……thanks Bill We shall talk soon….Keep it up my friend….Smokey

    • Smokey,

You have found the understanding that will be taking you further than most can believe. If only others would be so clear on sticking with what you are doing to create a source or two of revenue prior to creating your company. What you do to generate revenue is not your company. Yet, it will fund a project and personal needs.

Give it a chance and allow good people to support you on the way. There are allot of us out here that are hungry to help. Just ask Smokey!

Thanks again Smokey for all the supportive words and deeds.
